MEET SANDRA

Sandra is the mover and shaker, she has managed the refuge for the past 17 years and is still going strong Over this 17 year period she has found homes for thousands of animals. Contact Hrs. at the Refuge are 9am. to 4pm. Mon. to Fri.  Closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Closed for lunch 12.30 to 1.30 pm

REFUGE POLICIES

THE INNISFAIL ANIMAL REFUGE  IS A  NON PROFIT,  REGISTERED CHARITY,RUN BY VOLUNTEER STAFF. THE  REFUGE HAS A NON-EUTHANASIA POLICY, WHICH MEANS, THERE MAY BE A DELAY PERIOD BEFORE WE CAN ACCEPT INCOMING ANIMALS, . THERE IS A FEE FOR IN-COMING AND OUTGOING  ANIMALS ,CONTACT REFUGE FOR DETAILS

DE-SEXING

ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM THE REFUGE ,THAT WILL BE RESIDING IN THE RESIDENTUAL AREA OF THE JOHNSTONE SHIRE MUST BE DE-SEXED, REGISTERED AND HAVE FENCED ENCLOSURE. ,RESIDENTS OF OTHER SHIRES CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL COUNCIL FOR LOCAL BY-LAWS
