Victorian Card Table

Featuring a burl walnut top, crossbanded in ebony and strung in boxwood, with an ebonized beech moulded edge.

The top opens to reveal a rich red baize playing surface surrounded by an ebonized beech birdscage base, featuring four fluted turned columns with brass bead inserts on a platform supported by carved sabre legs, with the toes featuring a carved patera.
